Vanaire Model VC Centrifugal Fans
Vanaire VC Centrifugal Fans are designed and manufactured
to be completely corrosion resistant, highly efficient, and
feature
smooth, quiet operation. These fans are fabricated to the
highest quality standards, built rugged and heavy duty, and
designed for high performance under the most severe duty
conditions.
Each Vanaire VC Fiberglass Fan is complete with coated steel
frame, built of 1/4 INCH 14 STEEL OR GREATER, corrosion resistant
housing and wheel, OSHA approved belt and shaft guards, TEFC
motor, belts and drives, drain flanged outlet and clean-out
door.
Fan Housing
Vanaire VC Fan Housings are fabricated from solid fiberglass,
Type II high impact PVC, or a dual laminate PVC/FRP overlay.
OSHA approved shaft guard and belt guard, access door,
scroll drain, collared inlet, flanged outlet, close tolerance
inlet
cones, and stainless steel hardware are standard.
Motors
 All motors on Vanaire VC Fans are high efficient, totally
enclosed, fan cooled and typically operate on 23
0/46OV, 3 phase, 60
cycle power. Motors are high efficiency, NEMA rated
with a 1.15 service
factor. Motors are mounted on an adjustable base
on side of the V frame for arrangement 49. Arrangement #1 mounts
are standard
for larger motors, 40 HP and up. Vanaire can also
provide motor starters and safety disconnects. Premium efficiency
motors
are standard.
Drives
VC Fan Drives are constant speed, V belt, with 1.15
service factor. Drives contain sufficient grooves
for required
operation. High
capacity belts are also provided. Adjustable drives
are available as an option.
Fan Wheels
The non-overloading backwardly inclined wheel is
made of steel, coated with 75 mils. of fiberglass
for maximum
quality
and
corrosion resistance. Kynar coated, chloral butyl
rubber coated, and solid
FRP wheels are also available for specific applications.
These wheels are statically and dynamically balanced
to within one
mil vibration, peak to peak.
Fan Frame
The Vanaire VC Fan Frame is comprised of heavy gauge,
1/4 inch thickness or greater, press broken steel
that is epoxy
primed
and coated with a two part epoxy paint system for
maximum corrosion resistance. This paint system
is a result
of exhaustive testing
by Vanaire, to provide maximum weather and corrosion
resistance for the steel frame.
Bearings
Vanaire VC Fans are equipped with THE highest quality
SEALMASTER GOLD, heavy duty pillow block bearings
that are self-aligning
and have a designed life of 100,00 hours, OR GREATER. |
